Theme 2015: 200 years of Kingdom
An up until now unequaled show of various flowering flower bulbs in the world’s largest contiguous flower bulb area that you really should not miss. Passionate and innovative bulb growers from the Northern sandy area (North of Holland) proudly present their products and additionally they give a sneak preview regarding varieties that will be put on the market in the near future.
De Lentetuin (Spring Garden) Breezand will be opened by His Majesty the King this year. Not only gives his presence this garden a royal touch, his visit also perfectly fits with the theme of this year; 200 years of kingdom.
It is the second time that the Spring Garden gets a royal touch. In 2005, Queen Beatrix opened the Spring Garden.
We received 4 awards at the Lentetuin 2015:
* Category 1 up to 55 varieties: 1st award with praise from the jury: 9,3 points
* Best Narcissus (small flowering): 2nd award with Narcissus Julia Jane
* Best mixed display various varieties: 2nd award
* Best display miscellaneous bulbs
